Careers
We look for people who know bottles, brands or print rooms and want their tools to matter. See how we work, who fits in, and how to apply.
Send careersOur workshop brings together operators, technicians and coordinators who care about quality print on glass, aluminium and PET bottles. We build and supply UV bottle decoration systems for craft beverage, skincare and promo packaging lines. Every bottle that leaves on our watch needs to be sharp, even when it’s handled through Gauteng transport centres or stacked in Cape Town’s coastal air. There’s no drama here. We move quickly, check twice and keep the factory floor honest. Loads move in and out most weeks, so you see the end result of your own work.
We work from 2 Makro Place in Sunnyrock, Germiston. You’ll find everything from technical benches and sample lines to backroom stock and municipal paperwork all close by. There’s plenty of cross-over if you like learning how kits run or managing print rooms. On some days you’ll hear three-phase UV machines running at the front while the team sorts Rand cheques or organises metal stock at the back.
Roles here suit people who don’t mind rolling up sleeves, handling print hardware or checking decoration quality by hand. We look for people who want straight tasks and can keep a bottle line ticking along - from prepping samples to running full UV bottle decoration systems. Most of our team come from practical backgrounds in sign rooms, print bays or product assembly. You might work with a technician one week and with a coordinator on packing and samples the next.
Typical roles you’ll find here include:
If you’ve run a sample programme for a local craft brand or worked on a print line in Bloemfontein or Durban, you’ll recognise the pace. Some join us from promotional print shops, others from bottle washing plants or small batch skincare packagers. Most start on sample prep, machine cleaning or order handling, and grow into running lines themselves.
You’ll fit in if you like seeing honest work done right, don’t mind dusty workshop air, and are comfortable with a team that says what needs saying. We value direct talk, early starts, and handling real kit. Projects here shift between single-batch sample runs and scaling up for bigger craft beverage lines. We favour those who take care of their tools and walk the floor rather than sit waiting for orders. If you know your way round a UV print head, a bottle rinser or a manual conveyor, you’ll settle in.
We don’t chase fancy job titles. Initiative counts for more than certificates. If you’ve spent time keeping machines running during load-shedding or fixed a jammed line with a cable tie, mention it. Many of our team come from outside Joburg, so you won’t be the only one learning the ropes at first. We respect anyone willing to ask questions or help a workshop neighbour.
We don’t use web forms. To apply, send a short email through our contact form with the subject line: Careers. In your message, tell us what practical work you’ve done - in workshops, print rooms or even at a school project table. Mention if you’re looking for technical work, order handling or sample prep. If you’ve already worked with UV printing, bottle lines or packaging, say so.
A good application includes:
You don’t need a long CV. We look for specific details showing you know your way around industrial or craft print kit, basic hand tools, or busy factory floors. If you’ve got photos of things you’ve helped decorate or installed, mention those. Most weeks, we review all emails and get back to applicants who look like a fit.
You’ll find support learning the kit here, from basic safety to the honest details of bottle decoration that survives load-shedding, Highveld dust or coastal humidity. Experienced operators walk new joiners through prepping lines, swapping inks and handling blockages. Our coordinators will show you how to log orders, check packing lists and keep samples matched to order notes. We’ll always tell you straight if a line needs extra hands or if you need to swap into a different task for the week.
We use local suppliers where we can, from Highveld cartons to Durban shrink sleeves. You’ll get to know a supply chain that stretches from Polokwane to Cape Town, not just by sending emails but from seeing real product move through our bay. There’s room for anyone who wants to learn more about UV systems, packaging or batch production.
