How we ship decorated samples from Sunnyrock

Finished sample bottles leave our Sunnyrock workshop in Germiston, carefully packed for the realities of local freight. Each sample run is accompanied by a cure log, which records ink and varnish settings, date, and operator notes that are relevant on your side. We supply all samples with the same attention as a full production run, so your line can check real handling on arrival.

Where possible, we use regional couriers with experience in handling decorated bottles for the beverage, skincare, and promo sectors. Please note that samples are only sent to verified addresses and may need someone on your team to sign for receipt, especially if your site is in a busy industrial park or business hub.

Gauteng, coastal, and regional delivery timing

Most Gauteng operators get overnight windows, subject to courier schedules and load-shedding. For coastal staging, orders route through Pavilion or Tyger Valley for Cape Town, Durban or Gqeberha drop-offs. Rural and outlying areas may take longer due to local courier coverage and weather delays.

Delivery dates are always provisional, as local logistics can shift with public holidays, municipal infrastructure slowdowns, or Highveld storms. Our team tracks parcels and updates you if a sample is held up or redirected. Reach out through our contact form for real-time status if your order is time sensitive.

Packing, handling, and sample returns

Samples leave in sturdy packs designed for bottle transport, with clear markings to protect decorated areas from rubbing during transit. If you have special packing needs due to humidity, dust, or temperature swings (for example, in Durban or Polokwane), please note this when requesting samples. All labels, caps, and closures are packed loose unless requested otherwise.

PromoRun kits and demo lines can be returned using our CureCheck coupon system. This lets your team send back bottles for further testing, durability checks, or finish comparison. Return logistics are usually arranged with the original carrier. For more detail, see our Support or send a message through our contact form.

How to request and track samples

To request decorated bottle samples or a PromoRun kit, send a message through our contact form with your company name, address, and bottle material details (glass, PET, aluminium, etc). Tell us about the inks or finishes you want to see in practice, and if you need a particular sample programme for your region or production process.

After dispatch, you will receive a tracking number and a copy of the cure log for your records. Updates follow by email as your shipment moves. If you need technical advice or have questions about UV printing methods, browse our Finishes or Use-cases pages for practical information.

General terms and service notes

We do not ship to residential addresses, PO boxes, or unregistered business units. Sample deliveries run under standard transport conditions, with risk passing to the recipient on handover. If your site has secure receiving rules, let us know so we can note the paperwork for the driver.

All sample shipments are logged for traceability and POPIA compliance. We keep records of all correspondence, cure logs, and delivery slips. Need help planning a larger run or want to see previous Projects? Our office is ready to assist with straight answers and technical backup.
