Our Tyger Valley Centre suite in Bellville is set up for hands-on demonstrations of UV bottle decoration, with a focus on estate wine bottlers, craft distillers, and skincare lines looking to test real decoration on their own packaging. This space is not a showroom for generic kit or walk-ins but a working suite where you book a timed session, bring your own bottles or tubes, and see your artwork applied with Swiss-precise print and durable finishes. Operators from Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Paarl, and further along the coast use this suite to check print durability, finish options, and handling quality before placing production orders or investing in new decoration systems.
Producers and bottlers looking for repeatable, high-quality branding that survives packing, shipping, and shelf handling will get the most value from a session here. If you run a winery, distillery, skincare producer, or supply decorated packaging for promotional lines, this suite is for you. Contract fillers, warehouse owners, and distribution teams often attend to check how decoration stands up to Highveld dust or coastal humidity before a full production run.
If you need single-bottle print runs only for events or weddings, or are looking for water-slide transfers or laser engraving, this demo suite is not set up for that work. Our systems focus on UV-cured colour print direct to glass, plastic, and metal - not labels, sleeves, or sandblasting.
You book a slot in advance (usually a few days out), then bring three or four typical bottles, jars, or tubes from your line to Shop 311, Tyger Valley Centre. Our operator sets up the UV print system with your artwork, then runs live samples for your inspection. We show you how to prep surfaces, check for print adhesion, and avoid issues with coastal moisture, dusty storerooms, or transit knocks on Western Cape roads.
Most demos cover spot colour, process print, or textured finishes, depending on your needs. Many teams use this time to try different designs side by side, or to test how a new finish, such as frosted or metallic, looks on their actual bottle. If you have a particular colour or logo that worries you, the session lets you see first-hand how it prints and handles.
A Stellenbosch winery brings its signature 750 ml bottle, a gift minis range, and a clear glass olive oil decanter to the suite. The operator sets up each shape, prints the label artwork direct to glass in both full-colour and single-colour versions, then runs an abrasion test with packing materials riders might use on the Cape Town-Bloemfontein route. The team examines the samples under regular shop lighting, discusses possible tweaks, and leaves with test bottles ready to show partners or run through their bottling line. In a follow-up, the owner emails Contact form for a detailed quotation and schedules a full pilot run.
Advance prep helps make the most of your demo session. Bring two or three clean, dry containers with no labels or shrink sleeves. Your test artwork should be in vector format (PDF, AI, or EPS preferred), unless you need help with the layout, which we can discuss first. If you have specific colour targets or finishes, bring any reference samples or material swatches too.
The suite operates on a strict booking system, so plan your trip to Tyger Valley Centre for a morning or afternoon slot. If you want to see finish durability, let us know about any special handling your line faces, like warehouse stacking or humid routes through Durban and Gqeberha.
Some visitors arrive with only one bottle or a phone image of their logo, which limits the test. For best results, always bring clean, label-free samples and backed-up artwork in a transferable format. Leaving booking until the last minute can mean a long wait, especially ahead of seasonal runs in the winelands or coastal resorts.
If you work with odd-shaped or imported bottles, let the operator know up-front, as some finishes need extra setup time. Keep in mind that our systems are designed to print direct to the surface rather than over existing labels or special coatings.
