Remote recipe help from our Germiston team is made for operators and managers running UV bottle decorations across beverage, skincare and promotional lines. If your prints show inconsistencies or you need tweaks for new SKUs, we advise on recipe adjustments without a site visit. Recipe help supports settings related to ink laydown, curing, fixture fit and print clarity, as well as process changes for different plastics, glass or aluminium. This keeps your prints looking sharp and durable, whether your floor is in the Cape, Gauteng or along the coast.
Remote recipe help is practical for teams with at least some hands-on experience using our UV bottle printers. If you can follow step-by-step instructions and have handled changeovers, this support works well. It suits sign and print rooms, as well as small-batch craft lines that run multiple shapes and types. If you are new to the system, or if your team is facing equipment faults, leaks or electrical issues, remote tweaks may not be enough. In those cases, see Support for other help options or contact us for a more direct intervention.
Start by emailing our contact form. Attach clear photos of the affected SKU, both after printing and any close-ups of the problem area. Include your system's serial number (sticker under the main control panel). Mention the material (PET, glass, aluminium) and if you use custom inks or finishes. Describe the issue: for example, smudging near the shoulder or uneven colour on curved glass. The team checks these details, refers to your system profile, and responds with tested recipe tweaks for your machine. Most weeks, you get suggestions within a few workdays.
If you’re testing new bottles, tubes or jars, share a photo of each. If settings worked for a previous product, mention which one, this saves time and avoids repeating steps.
A bottling team in Durban is running a new 500 ml PET shape, but the logo prints patchy near the shoulder. They send a message through our contact form with smartphone photos: one wide, one focused on the shoulder. The operator adds the serial number and mentions the standard inkset used. Our team reviews their photos, checks the settings on file, and emails back with tweaks to carriage speed and curing pass. The operator makes the changes and runs a test. The next batch comes out crisp all around, and the print stands up to packing and handling.
Certain things can hold up remote support. Low-light or blurry photos make it hard to spot a print issue. Missing system serials mean we cannot match your settings file. If you leave out details about the bottle material or previous tweaks, we may need a round of follow-up questions before giving precise advice. During periods of load-shedding or public holidays, our response may take a bit longer. For urgent production halts, always mention if your line is stopped, so the team can prioritise your ticket or suggest temporary workarounds.
If you routinely work with hard-to-print shapes or seasonal lines, consider bookmarking our Fixture care and MiniLine training pages for self-help between recipe tweaks.
