Use-case
We UV-print lids, jars and pumps for skincare houses needing artwork that stands up to handling, shelf wear and repeat filling. Soft-touch coatings and curved jars get reliable treatment in our fixture bay.

Explore →This programme suits Gauteng and coastal skincare brands, contract fillers, boutique formulators and promo runs who need consistent branding across different jar sizes, lids and packs. We work best with teams who want resilient artwork for high-touch jars, airless bottles and matched gift sets. If you only need a run of plain jars or blank caps, this does not suit you. We handle UV decoration on plastic, glass, and coated parts from 30 ml up to 500 ml, including awkward shapes and pumps where hand-labelling fails. Our service helps when you need dependable transfer on soft-touch and metallic finishes, or when last-minute launches risk skipping proper artwork checks. For regulatory finishes or bulk-commodity lines, check pharma droppers or nutraceuticals.
On the Highveld, dusty air in Germiston factories and static from dry winter air mean our team checks every jar and lid for surface faults before running UV machines. Along the coast from Durban to Cape Town, humidity and salt can affect cure times, so we test each new batch of soft-touch or matt finish. We know pumps and airless packs often deform at cheap print shops, so our fixture bay uses adjustable clamps and pressure settings. No two lots are alike, and some supply chains send slightly different cap shapes between orders. We keep spare fixtures for common profiles and update our notes from recent batches. Most clients send us a starter set with both filled and empty packs, plus two sample lids for ink tests. Once the art is ready, matched sets get sequenced by batch for even colour and finish.
A Cape Town personal care brand wanted their 50 ml and 200 ml jars to match a rose-gold pump and box insert for a December promo set. The 200 ml jar used a soft-touch matt that showed every fingerprint. We ran cure tests at three pressures to avoid lift or streak, marked the successful settings and kept ink samples. Gift packs then needed the same gold shade on a PET pump and a coated box card, so we used our flatbed for both, loaded the jar and pump in one fixture and matched the job by date code. On check, the art survived pack-out and shelf handling from Paarl to Sea Point, without rub-off or scuffing.
Starting a new skincare jar job with us works best when you put the details up front. Rushed or vague info leads to delays and rework, and we avoid quoting on guesswork. Your pack access and surface finish are the main constraints. If you have unusual lids, send a photo of the jar and closure side by side.
This list keeps your brief clear and saves a week:
South African jobs often slip when teams send incomplete briefs, skip sample approvals, or assume all jar finishes cure the same in UV. Highveld dry air, coastal humidity and supply inconsistencies mean soft-touch finishes might mark or not cure evenly if not tested. Always specify cap profile and varnish type. Changing lids mid-order will introduce misalignments or hold-ups, especially if the finish comes from a Cape or Durban supplier. For gift sets, mismatched print runs are easy to spot on shelf, so finalise all items together. If your brief is unusual or if you have new shapes not covered above, say so early and flag any timing risks. When in doubt, ask us for a checklist relevant to your lot. Send a message through our contact form (not forgetting two photos if you can) and mention your timing in the subject line for urgent packs.
More technical notes are available in our Notes section, and you can explore related applications like hotel amenities or finishes if your jar project shifts.
